Enhancements
The below enhancements are new functionality items in this version.
1. New Bot Management Page
Out with the old in with the new! We are updating everything across our site and the new bot management page was next up for a refresh.
Now all bots are listed as cards with more information about how they are performing. See high level metrics about performance and hover over the card to view percentages.
Have more then one bot running across your site? Use the search bar to filter bots based on the trigger URL/events that launch them for easy updating.
2. Highlighted Deploy Options
We have so many ways to deploy your Instabot and we are constantly improving in this space. We have made it very clear where and how we currently support deploying your Instabot.
The new deploy page is found when creating new or editing a bot.
3. Updated Edit Bot Header
Creating the perfect bot can have many steps and can get overwhelming. So we added some clear steps to help you out.
When viewing the bot overview, you will notice the header only has 3 tabs. These are all that is needed to review how your bot is doing.
You can quickly activate and deactivate your bot from this view.
When editing your bot, there are a few more options including the trigger settings, UI settings, and deploy page we spoke about above.
Not all of these steps are required to deploy your bot, but we would suggest to review each step when initially deploying so that you know how the bot will be experienced.
Fixed Issues
The below issues are fixed items related to known issues in previous versions.
- Updated the User List to include more data and prepare for future improvements on user analytics
- Create New Apps from the App name side menu
- Webhooks - Support http:// and https:// distinctsion
- Account Settings - Updated design
- Bot Triggers - Updated design
