Enhancements
The below enhancements are new functionality items in this version.
1. Use Live Chat takeover to Re-Open a conversation with your users
Monitoring user's conversations with your bot and want to take over, but right as you do they complete the conversation? Your thinking that the opportunity to reach out to the user directly is lost?
Think again, you can now re-open that session with the user if they are still on your website. For a period of about 5 minutes, the session can still be taken over, giving you more opportunity to speak directly with the user.
All you have to do is select the "Takeover" button and if they are still on your site, the widget will re-open letting them know you are available to chat further.
2. Pre-configured webhooks
We have created a few webhooks to add to your Instabot that only require adding your API Key. See our documentation here
3. More ways to be Alerted on Instabot Engagements
Two weeks ago, we created browser real-time alerts when there were users actively on your site viewing the Instabot. All though it is powerful, to many alerts can be overwhelming.
So now, just like email recap alerts, you can configure how you will get alerted by your browser notifications. Simply set your real-time alerts for each bot to your preferences.
4. Updates to Segments UI/UX
You can create Segments directly from your user filters. Once you have created the desired set of users based on advanced filters, simply select Create Segment.
Once created, you can view and edit the segment from the redesigned Segment management page.
Fixed Issues
The below issues are fixed items related to known issues in previous versions.
- If using teaser messages, we switched the default behavior to show the first 2 prompts of your Instabot instead of a custom message as we have seen this has better engagement results.
- Updated storyboard to allow for auto-collapsing of bot paths for easier editing.
- Continuous improvements to performance and stability of both the Instabot portal and the end-user widget.
