Enhancements
The below enhancements are new functionality items in this version.
1. Close a Bot path from the Storyboard
Now instead of adding a Close Chat node type to the storyboard, we have added a dedicated button at the end of every bot path. So now when you have completed the flow, you simply select the "Close Chat" button and the close node is added.
This eliminates any confusion about how to complete a both path in preparation for publishing your bot.
2. Improved Node Error Handling
We have made it more clear what fields are required when creating an Instabot node. When you try to complete a task without all of the required steps finished, a validation message and animation will appear to point you in the right direction. See the GIF below for a demo:
3. Moved the Dashboard Report to Analytics
You may have noticed some changes to the side navigation menu, we have moved some thing around and you can now see the dashboard report as the homepage for Analytics.
Fixed Issues
The below issues are fixed items related to known issues in previous versions.
- We have been running some user feedback sessions lately and rolling out a lot of little changes to improve the ease of building a bot. So things you may not have noticed existed are now better.
- Conversations - Delay in moving closed chats from Active to Closed tab
- Conditions - Property list missing some user properties
- Existing Node List - Node type icons were wrong for email and phone node type
- Emoji list covers the message prompt field on smaller laptop screens
